Getting Started
If you attended a workshop hosted by your Close To My Heart Consultant, you’ll already have most of the necessary products required to create the bonus project. Simply order the items noted below with an asterisk, and you’re all set!

Helpful Hints
To create the featured bonus project, follow the helpful hints outlined below and the assembly instructions in our how-to book Wishes® book.
- Tip: As you cut the paper, sort the pieces as indicated in the cutting guide so that each card has its own stack. For example, if the cutting guide labels a piece “Stay Left™,” place it in the stack for the Stay Left card.
- Use diagrams in Wishes™ on pages 53, 55, 78, and 119 and this cutting guide to cut papers.
- Cut zip strips with a pennant at the end as follows:
- “Forever Friends” (New Pattern)
- “Thanks For Everything” (Stay Left™)
- “You Make Me Smile” (Delightful Dots™)
- For Gallery™ card, lightly spray B with water, crumple into a ball and flatten out; repeat as desired. Set aside to dry under heavy, flat surface. When dry, sponge edges and ridges with Saddle ink.
- Sand distress Saddle bases, Cashmere base, and Sorbet pieces left to right; then again right to left creating a crosshatch pattern.
- Stamp 8" × 3" Colonial White accent piece as follows:
- One large flower base with Crème Brulee ink, stamp large flower on top with Sorbet ink
- One large flower base with second generation Sorbet ink, stamp flower on top with Sorbet ink
- One medium flower with Saddle ink
- One medium flower with Crème Brulee ink
- One small flower with Crème Brulee ink
- One small flower with Sorbet ink
- Trim all flower images.
- Sand distress and sponge edges of all papers, bases, and cutout accents with Saddle ink.
- Create the New Pattern card as follows:
- Stamp stitched edge of border image in Saddle ink on left side of A and B
- Stamp full border image in Crème Brulee ink across middle of C
- Attach “Forever Friends” zip strip to C
- Assemble card according to the new pattern
- Attach burlap ribbon, Sorbet large base flower, and Crème Brulee small flower accents
- Attach embellishments as desired
- Create the Delightful Dots™ card as follows:
- Stamp stitched edge of border image in Saddle ink on left side of A
- Stamp bitty flower image on left side of A with Crème Brulee ink
- Stamp large flower image in center of B
- Attach burlap ribbon
- Assemble card according to pattern in Wishes on page 53
- Attach “You Make Me Smile” zip strip
- Attach embellishments as desired
- Create the Stay Left™ card as follows:
- Stamp full border image in Sorbet ink vertically across right side of B
- Stamp small flower in Crème Brulee ink on D
- Stamp bitty flower in Sorbet ink on D
- Assemble card according to pattern in Wishes on page 55
- Attach burlap ribbon, Saddle medium flower, and “Thanks For Everything” zip strip
- Attach embellishments as desired
- Create the Sentiment Secured™ card as follows:
- Stamp stitched edge of border image in Saddle ink around entire border of A
- Stamp bitty flower in Saddle ink on B
- Stamp “Good Times” sentiment with Saddle ink on C
- Assemble card according to pattern in Wishes on page 78
- Attach Crème Brulee medium flower using 3-D foam tape on B
- Trim two 2 3/4" strips from serged edge of burlap ribbon
- Attach embellishments as desired
- Create the Gallery™ card as follows:
- Stamp stitched edge of border image in Saddle ink on right side of A
- Stamp full border image in Saddle ink across top of C
- Stamp “You’re Super” sentiment with Sorbet ink on bottom right of C
- Assemble card according to pattern in Wishes on page 119
- Stack Crème Brulee large base flower, Cottage Assortment accent, and small Sorbet flower; attach to card
- Attach embellishments as desired
